Alex Rammal, Director of IT Projects & Portfolio, Jaguar Land Rover

Alex has worked for a number of blue chip organisations in a variety of IT roles.  A significant amount of his early career was spent at BOC / Linde where he started as a UK Project Manager, responsible for the completion of multiple large scale global application deployments and out-sourcing / off-shoring programmes, before progressing to a role heading up Linde's global application department which involved the support and development of all of the groups core IT application landscape.

A move to Fujifilm saw Alex begin his role as Head of IT for the UK division.  He held a position on the UK Management Board and spent 2 years overseeing a significant IT modernisation programme.

Alex joined Jaguar Land Rover in October 2011 as Director of Programme and Portfolio Delivery (PPD).  This role is part of the senior IT leadership team and consists of overall responsibility for the successful and timely delivery of over 80 concurrent projects and programmes across the company.  His department also encompasses PMO, legacy development teams and the IT communications function, he is also the key sponsor for a number of JLR’s major IT programmes including it’s reporting, analytics and big data programmes

He lives in Bedfordshire with his wife and two young daughters.
