As Director of Cloud Global Practice, Marc is responsible for the Cloud Portfolio & Strategy across HP Software Services. The Cloud Global Practice is responsible for identifying and creating repeatable solutions, best practices, artifacts, and intellectual property to accelerate the adoption or provision of cloud solutions and improve the time to value for the customer.
Prior to this, Marc ran the IT Service Management (ITSM) & Business Service Management (BSM) Global Practices as part of HP Software Services. Marc has also held the position of HP Software Regional Chief Technology Officer, focused on the communication, media, and entertainment market, and was the bridge between software portfolio planning/direction and major customers. A key part of Marc's role was to provide insight into the strategy and direction of HP Software while translating and championing customer needs and market demands within HP Software's R&D organization.
In all of these roles, Marc regularly provides guidance and advice to HP’s global enterprise customers regarding their strategy, transformation, architectural direction including emerging topics such as cloud and new service delivery models, how they can best capitalize on the opportunity, and how HP can help them achieve their objectives.
Marc has over 20 years of experience in IT with over 15 years of involvement in designing, implementing, and supporting Business, Service, and Infrastructure Management solutions. Prior to joining HP, he was deputy CTO at RiverSoft and Micromuse, responsible for medium- and long-term portfolio direction, and was head of architecture and portfolio product management.
