Toby Wright is Chief Technology Officer at Telegraph Media Group and has worked in the technology and media sectors for 25 years. Leading a team responsible for the digital products and propositions around and including Telegraph.co.uk, Toby also oversees software and product development, technical strategy and the move to SaaS platforms.
Toby has previously worked at Reuters where he was responsible for leading the Content Technology Services function, supporting 120 locations delivering real time news and data.
For a leading Ad services company, he managed the acquisition and integration of a technology platform from Associated Press that serviced 3,200 newspapers and media properties across the US for digital ad delivery and associated services.
Prior to this, Toby spent more than a decade working for Intel Corporation, introducing the first PC into Intel Europe and steering the engineering and deployment of LAN’s, WAN's and messaging systems. He has also worked for Intel Online Services responsible for Data Centre planning and implementation.
